Cleaning a bath may seem straightforward but if you follow our simple cleaning guide, you can guarantee your Carron bath will look as good as the day it was installed.
Bath Cleaning Tips - How to Clean Your Bathtub

Cleaning should be done immediately after use whilst the bath is still warm. This way, the layer of insoluble soap, grease and dirt which would otherwise harden on the surface can be removed more easily.

Clean the bath thoroughly with warm, soapy water. Wipe away excess with a soft sponge or microfibre cloth. We recommend simply using a small amount of washing up liquid, or for more thorough cleaner, a product such as CIF Cream Cleaner. Most other bathroom spray cleaners (such as Flash, Mr Muscle) are safe to use on your bath as long as they do not contain bleach or ammonia.

For a greener clean, create your own cleaning mixture by filling a spray bottle with equal parts water and white wine vinegar. This spray will easily remove grime. Again rinse with clean water and use a soft sponge or microfibre cloth. For tougher stains, use a small sprinkling of baking soda on your bath before applying your vinegar spray solution.

After cleaning, ALWAYS rinse thoroughly with clean water.

In areas with particularly hard water, insoluble calcium salts may form deposits on taps and along the water line. In order to avoid these, clean the bath with a soft sponge and detergent in hot water immediately after use. Rinse with plenty of cold water.
General Care

Do not bring into contact with sharp-edged or pointed objects.

Avoid leaving lit cigarettes or any other heat source on or near the surface of the bath.
Warning:

Abrasive powder cleaners may scratch the surface of your bath. Avoid using these on your baths.
9.
Highly coloured bath oils, bathing products and hair dyes can stain the surface of your acrylic bath.
10.
Care should be taken when using nail polish remover (acetone) or products containing ammonia near your bath, as these can damage the bath surface.
